ABOUT THE OWNER
Founder and designer Alice was born in Cannes, France, in 1993. Coming from a family of doctors and engineers, Alice was taught from a very young age about the importance of working hard for your money, and even harder in order to have a successful career. She discovered her passion as an entrepreneur and future business woman in those very early years, doing things like selling gadgets she'd built or repaired, doing extra chores, and even creating pop-up restaurants for her family, all to make an extra couple dollars.
In 2000, her father’s job brought the family to Australia where Alice learned English, and continued her education, in Sydney.
Business + Creativity
Alice and her mother began making jewellery in 2004, selling their pieces at the local school and Bondi markets. It was from her mother that Alice inherited her creative side, as her mum had incredible artistic skills, and was an amazing painter, jewellery crafter, and all-round creator.
Alice carried on her love for jewellery design and creation to her final year of high school in 2010, where her final project for her HSC in Design and Technology featured extravagant hand-made pieces of jewellery made from glass, metal wires and beads- a project which went on to be selected to be exhibited at the historic Powerhouse Museum, in New South Wales.
In 2011, Alice put her creative skills to test, as she went on to study Interior Architecture Honours at the University of New South Wales, and in her second last year of university, during the summer break of 2015, “The Littl” was born.
Starting The Littl
Having just gone through a break-up, and finding herself with a lot of spare time during the university’s summer holidays, Alice was inspired to put her time to good use, and put her creativity and entrepreneurial love of business into action. Within a month, the website, first designs, and Instagram were up and running, and she had made her first few sales.
After finishing university in 2017, Alice decided to take time away from Interior Architecture and make her dreams come true, working on, and growing The Littl full-time. Alice always believed that her time and efforts would be better spent building her own dreams, rather than building someone else’s.
Fast forward to 2020, Alice continues to evolve the fast-growing brand as the Lead Designer and CEO of The Littl, and of her new business venture, Littl Swim (www.littlswim.com).
ABOUT THE BRAND
The evolution of the brand has been a natural and organic progression, starting with 10 designs, to now stocking over 350 unique pieces. As The Littl grows, the tradition of hand-crafting each piece of jewellery in house continues, staying true to its beginnings, where everything was hand-made by Alice on her living room table. The Littl has a dedication to superior craftsmanship from the early design stage, to the final production, as every single piece is hand-crafted with the utmost detail, care, love and pride.
The Littl believes that jewellery is both a work of art and an investment, therefore, a mission for longevity and sentiment is at the heart of every single design.

A focus on sustainability has always been a priority for The Littl. All orders are shipped using eco-friendly packaging, and gift boxes are only provided upon purchase, as research shows that gift boxes usually tend to end up being thrown away instantly. Custom hand-making each piece to order, in the Sydney studio, is a conscious decision that allows The Littl to reduce waste, and minimise the environmental footprint.
The Littl is forever grateful to its strong fan base, having been worn and loved by thousands of Littl customers, countless influencers and social media celebrities, and having amassed over 90K loyal followers on Instagram alone. Over the last 5 years, the brand has been sold in 39 countries, has grown to have an international online store presence, and is now stocked in stores in Sydney, WA, Italy and the UK, and continues to grow every day.
